I personally like that it’s got the touch of blue with the black dial which increases the versatility. I also like that the white gold looks like stainless steel to the masses. You can enjoy wearing a gold watch without the extra attention and flare. I prefer the white dial on the daytona (both my 116520 and 116523 have white). Wife's DJ looks better in white (again, for both of us - her preference). I had a "whitish" (ok light silver) dial YM that I sold - for the 116622 blue dial. It’s really personal preference. I have two tone and black dials, SS and black dials and really like them, but when I saw the gold submariner with blue dial. it was just something unique.
