Love it or loathe it kind of smell. A must-sniff for all fragheads nevertheless. The juice in this late 90s bottle by Parfums Corp/Sanofi projects like an absolute beast and lasts 8+ hours. So a while back, I decided to track and collect YSL's Kouros and all its flankers, all 11 versions! My goal is to satisfy the curiosity that I have developed as a fragrance lover. I want to get into the heads of the perfumers, and see exactly what it is they were thinking when the flankers were produced.

Top notes are Aldehydes, Coriander, Clary Sage, Artemisia and Bergamot; middle notes are Patchouli, Carnation, Geranium, Vetiver, Jasmine, Cinnamon, Orris Root and Lavender; base notes are Civet, Honey, Leather, Musk, Oakmoss, Amber, Tonka Bean and Vanilla.
In production without interruptions since 1981, a blockbuster that made Yves Saint Laurent's fortune, this scent survived through decades, but unfortunately, suffered heavy reformulations. Now more than 30 years after it's quite different from early years.
