Below are some photos to help identify a genuine Rolex Swiss rivet 7206 bracelet. This bracelet was used throughout the 1950s (and possibly earlier) and was discontinued with the introduction of the 9315 bracelet (latest known clasp date stamp for the 7206 is 1969.)
The end links on Swiss Rivet bracelets were always stamped with a two digit code while U.S. rivet bracelets had no markings on the end links. Folded link bracelets and solid link bracelets had three digit codes. Up until this date, the Oyster bracelet only came with straight ends, but finally patent number 303,005 breathed life into the vaunted end links, which completed the Rolex look as we know it today. The end links allow the Oyster to perfectly integrate into the case of .
