I read that it will help from the ceramic bearings that I can hear shaking around and mark it quieter. I find that the two Panerai's I've owned were/are both noisy. PAM 048 and PAM 244. Can definitely hear the rotor moving if you are moving it close to your ear. Minor minor minuscule tiny microscopic (small) annoyance to me. But def. louder than other brands.
