I have recently acquired a new Explorer 36mm, and having a hard time finding the right bracelet fit. No matter how I play with links, micro adjustment, easy link, it’s always either too tight or too loose. Here is the new 40mm Explorer ref. 224270. This is the Explorer I’ve been waiting for. perfect for my wrist (~7 inches) and as nicely proportioned as the 124270, which I owned, but could never warm up to the size. I have not found any strap combo that looks nice on Rolex explorer (or Sub maxi case) so keeping mine on bracelet. I do have lots of straps and pair them with my watches but explorer ain’t speedmaster which is the true strap monster.
