My engraved Rolex Rehauts all align pretty much perfectly to 12 with the little crown engraving. the X in Rolex will hit each marker from 1 - 5. The R in Rolex will hit each marker from 7 - 11. Each of my serial numbers falls between minute marks starting between . The "rehaut" on all of the Rolex watches I have owned is milled from one ingot of steel & part of the middle case; it cannot be separated. So the only fix too this is a brand new .I just got a new Sub from the AD and it has 2 visible "imperfections": 1. The dial isn't aligned to the rehaut. 2. The ceramic bezel insert isn't aligned to the rehaut when the bezel is clicked to the .

The dial is actually misaligned, not the rehaut. Can easily be fixed at an AD or watchmaker. Problem with some reps is the spacing on the rehaut engraving is improper so some indices line up and some don't.
I see you've already sent it back, but from those straight-on pics you sent, it appears that it's the rehaut that's actually misaligned, not the dial. This could only happen during manufacturing, perhaps if the case wasn't properly aligned in the jig that hods it . From what I can tell the dial seems to be shifted slightly to the left making the minute markers not align with the “ROLEX” inner bezel letters and the etched crown. On top of that, 12oclock minute marker doesn’t align with the center of the “24” at the top I have seen many pictures showing misaligned rehauts across various models. Some members say it is an easy fix, by moving the dial or movement? Usually its.
Just received my BLNR that I bought from a private seller in watchrecon and noticed that the crown on the rehaut is slightly misaligned and shifted a bit to the right. I know that this is normal and that a lot of other people have had this problem before. Is the rehaut meant to be perfect/close to perfectly aligned with minute markers? I am talking about noticeable misalignment rather than minor one. Did I reach the wrong conclusion or are we been flooded with pics of replicas? I got my new 2020 submariner and looking at it, the alignment of everything seemed a little off. After a closer look, it seems like the dial might be rotated clockwise. I was wondering if anyone has had success getting this fixed at an RSC or if they had any thoughts.
