This pioneering model with its hermetically sealed Oyster case could be continually wound by the motion of the wearer’s wrist while keeping .

At the end of the day, the market tells the truth, and Panerai is doing just fine. Despite Richemont's watch sales being down 6% the last fiscal year due to Covid, ""A. Lange & Söhne and Panerai had "notable growth" last year, the company said."". It’s not you, Panerai — it’s me. There are several reasons for that, but chief among them is the cost of a new Panerai versus what I could get for similar money. While Panerai’s design language is relatively distinct, it’s also a large form factor for someone with smaller wrists.Back to your question, let me put it like this: Panerai is not for everyone. It definitely has its own identity and character, unique designs, and chunky presence; and these same characteristics make it odd to many. Granted, it is not the chunkiest of watches, I've seen bigger ones; yet many think it is "too much"!
Sep 14, 2021. Maybe it's just me, but Panerai really annoys me. I find the all of the base models to be very basic in style, yet I understand they're iconic. I'm apathetic to these models, but I understand why people like them. Panerai are also their own worst enemy, seemingly never far from one scandal or another from fitting undecorated movements into closed case back watches, posting images of counterfeits on their own Instagram or the latest debacle of downgrading their in-house movements whilst saying nothing. Don't hold their value anymore. Even the highly collected years of 1993 - 1999 models have lost value as Panerai copied and reproduced similar models (DLC/PVD with fake aged lum etc.) My current two cost less than the price of the least expensive model currently available. Not worth it to me. DON Page 3- Is Panerai still relevant anymore (compared to Omega/Rolex)? Panerai Discussion Forum

From left to right: PAM 183, PAM 416, PAM 233, PAM 305, and PAM 113. Back then buying ANY Panerai was a difficult task. While even the oldest of them remain hooked, Stallone has grown up horologically and is barely seen wearing Panerai in private anymore. In late 2020, the 76-year-old actor auctioned off his Luminor Logo supposedly worn during the filming of . Panerai didn't tell anyone, not even their own Boutiques.
