I use a plastic butter knife to pop the bezel off, this particular knife is from IKEA. I use plastic because it won't damage the bezel or case. I attach the bezel before the bezel ring so. I then pressed on the bezel and glued in the bezel inlay using an adhesive ring, here you can see the result. It was fun and the result is stunning. Clicks like GEN, and I was able to practice building the case a little right away.

I like to change aluminum inserts on Rolex GMT Master II 16710 pieces. And sometimes on 16610 Submariners. Thought this video may be helpful. A few people have reached out to ask, across the years. There are better tools and approaches. I doubt this is how a Rolex AD would do it.
You need to get golf grip solvent. It is a mild solvent and will not touch gaskets, but it will make the bezel adhesive break down. Soak the bezel portion only in a thin layer of the solvent, upside down overnight, then come back and turn the bezel the opposite way. It should slide off. I love my Coke bezel GMT Master II 16710 and one of the main reasons I got the watch was the way you can change up its look with the different bezels. I thought I could just take it to a reputable watchmaker and it would be an in&out .
