St. Paul the Apostle Giants 5k Run/Walk-September 9th

Come out and run through the beautiful neighborhoods of nearby Joliet and help support the St. Paul the Apostle Catholic School. Start at St. Paul school and run through its beautiful neighborhoods.

5th Annual 5K Run/Walk for SIDS Awareness-September 16th

In the memory of Aiden Lamps, the 5th annual 5k Run/Walk for SIDS Awareness will take place on September 16th.  Check in at 7am in Spring Valley near Hall High School.  The race starts at 9am!

2017 Ottawa Octoberfest Beer 5k Run/Walk-September 23rd

This fun night run/walk benefits Ottawa First, the fireworks group.  After the race, be sure to fill up your commemorative beer stein with your favorite beer! The post party features awesome authentic German food!

Cincinnati, Ohio

Annual Chase SBA 5k-September 9th

This race is in nearby Newport, KY and is sponsored by the Student Bar Association and Chase Public Interest Group.  Race proceeds goes towards funding student activities at Chase and help fund scholarships for students working in unpaid public interest jobs over the summer.

Red Wolf Rampage 2017-Spetember 16th

The Red Wolf Sanctuary is hosting the 4th annual 5k and 10k Trail walk/run.  The Red Wolf Rampage is set on a beautiful 452-acre facility in Rising Sun, Indiana. Sure to be fun and scenic!

The Cincinnati Beer Run 2017-September 23rd

The Cincinnati Beer Run adds some glow this year!  This beer and glow run starts in Newport, KY goes through Cincinnati and ending back in Newport with an amazing afterparty at Newport Oktoberfest! This race is about having fun!

IRONKIDS Augusta Fun Run-September 24th

This 1 Mile and 1/2 mile course for kids will provide tremendous fun and each athlete receives a race bib, finisher shirt, medal, goodie bag and the pride of calling themselves an IRONKID!

Stomp Out Sickle Cell 5k run/walk-September 30th

Help stomp out Sickle Cell Disease by helping to raise funds for education, awareness and advocacy! Run as an individual or form a team, it’s up to you!  There is a kid’s zone on site and an event T-Shirt for every participant.

Blacklight Run-September 30th

The Blacklight Run is considered the brightest and most fun 5k around!  The race isn’t about how fast or how far you can run, this race is about having a glowing good time!  We hope this is the best 3 miles of your life!

Bike MS: Historic New Bern Ride 2017-September 9-10th

This 2-day fundraising cycling event takes you through the beautiful countryside of eastern North Carolina.  The ride begins and ends in the beautiful downtown of New Bern, NC!

Colors for Cancer 5k/1 Mile-September 30th

The 2017 Craig Blake Memorial Colors 4 Cancer 5k and 1-mile run/walk is a color run that benefits the journey of Hope Cancer Support Center in New Bern. The Race starts and finishes at Creekside Elementary School.  Plenty of parking is available and the race runs through the beautiful Carolina Colours neighborhood.

B1 5K & 1 Mile Run/Walk-September 9th

This great race is for the awareness and prevention of Youth Suicide.  The Jason Foundation, Inc. provides tools and resources for students, parents and teachers/youth workers to help with youth suicide. Help control this silent epidemic by participating in this wonderful race.

9th Annual Kids4Kids Triathlon presented by All Kids Student Organization at UFA-September 23rd

This wonderful race at The University of Florida in Gainesville helps raise money for local children’s charities. Available for children 4-18 and involves swim and bike as well as a finish with a run through Ben Hill Stadium!

The Country Mile 5K-September 30th

This is a country themed obstacle for competitors of all skill levels.  From Elite races for the serious competitor to novice races for the casual competitor, The Country Mile has it all.  Receive a medal and a T-Shirt for just completing the race. September 30th at the Jacksonville Equestrian Center.

Baton Rouge get ready to help fight childhood cancer by joining this fun race!  Be a fearless fundraiser for the kids of St. Jude! St Jude won’t stop until no child dies from cancer.

The Plaquemine, LA race kicks off on September 16th and provides a 1 Mile along with a 5k race! The Fun run starts at 8am so get there early!  5k starts 30 minutes later.

10th Annual Run the United Way 5k-September 9th

The 10th Annual Run the United Way 5k comes to you from nearby Miami, Oklahoma. This event is chip-timed and sponsored by INTEGRIS Miami Hospital. There will be a nutrition and hydration table available.

Ronald McDonald House Charities of the Four States Big Red Shoe Race-September 9th

This fantastic race starts and ends at Ronald McDonald House (34th & Jackson).  There will be 5k/5M/15k races available! Top female and male finishers in each age group are awarded.  For the Fun Run top overall male and female ages 15 & under.

Benton Elementary PTO Sparkle Run-September 22nd

This is a fun run for the entire family!  The Sparkle Run will also have a timed race available. Prizes will be given for best timed runner, most sparkle and child with the most sponsors!

Color for a Cause 5k/1M-September 2nd

In nearby Mount Vernon, it’s time to sign up for the Color for a Cause 5k & 1M!  This race benefits the New Direction and Knox Substance Abuse Action Team,  The first 100 participants with a paid registration will get a free T-Shirt!

Sidney-Shelby County YMCA 5k-September 9th

This year’s race will start and finish at the Sydney-Shelby County YMCA and travel along residential streets. The event includes a 1 mile Fun Run, awards, refreshments and music!

Spirit of Wipro Run-September 17th

This event brings together the entire Wipro ecosystem.  The Spirit of Wipro is a source of inspiration because the process of giving back to the communities where we work and live.  The charitable cause for this year’s 5k in Findley is to support the West Ohio Food Bank’s Backpack program.

7th Annual Twin Rivers YMCA Freedom Run-September 10th

This wonderful race in Valley, NE takes place on a fast, flat course.  The race starts and ends at the Twin Rivers YMCA. This is a great workout and a great way to remember those lost during 9/11.

2017 Omaha Marathon presented by HITS Endurance-September 17th

There is a distance for everyone as HITS Endurance hosts the 42nd Omaha Marathon.  Whether you are a beginner or a multi-sport veteran there is something for everyone.  This run is on a popular flat course which makes this a bit easier!

Concordia 5K-September 23rd

The Concordia Lutheran Schools of Omaha hosts a 5k and a 1 mile fun run/walk on Saturday Sept. 23rd.  The 5k Run/Walk course is a timed event on an out and back paved trail.  Each mile will be marked.  The 1 Mile Fun Run/Walk will not be a timed event.

Northbrook, Illinois

Light Your Fire 5k Run/Walk-September 17th

Spencer Park in Belvidere, Il is the place for the Light Your Fire 5k Run/Walk!  This charitable race benefits the Boone County District 2 Firefighters and the OSF Saint Anthony Medical Burn Unit.

Starts with a pancake breakfast and finishes with a Community BBQ.  You are welcome to walk as well as run. So join them as they race from Warman to Martensville and remember there is a 3 hour limit.

SRRA Trail Race Series-September 24th

5k, 10k or 15k, which do you prefer?  The course is a narrow single track through trees as well as grassy trails on the cross-country ski course.  The race begins on the cross-country ski course at Blackstrap Provincial Park. A race for the fit!
