Marseilles, Illinois

Chasing the Sun-June 8th
The New Lenox Chamber of Commerce presents the Chasing the Sun 5K which benefits educational scholarships. This year’s race offers a 5K certified course that is family friendly.

Piyesta Pinoy Bayani 5K-June 10th
In nearby Bolingbrook you have the inaugural Piyesta Pinoy Bayani 5K Run, Ruck and Walk.  This race honors the Filipino and American service members who made great sacrifices.

Trinity Triumph 5K-June 22nd
Runners and walkers of all ages are welcome to gather and provide inspiration and experience camaraderie while supporting Trinity Services. The 5K course is certified by USA Track and Field.

 

Cincinnati, Ohio

The Big Run-June 7th
The Fleet Feet Sports stores nationwide will hold a local 5K race.  All results will funnel to a national leaderboard to determine the fastest runner in the nation.  Could it be you?

Honoring Our Heroes 5K-June 17th
The 5K race starts at the Lunken Airport and supports the local community through organizations that help men and women in the US military.  Great cause, great run.

The 2017 Hyde Park Blast-June 24th
There’s a full day of events which includes a 4-mile run/walk kids fun run. The morning races are followed by criterium bike races, Block party and Chariot races.

 

Augusta, Georgia

Run for the Hills, 5K Trail Run and Walk-June 3rd
Located on a private 262-acre nature preserve alongside beautiful scenery.  Follow creeks and mountainous terrain that’s sure to please those looking for adventure and a breathtaking run.

Greatest American Superhero 5K and 1M Fun Run-June 24th
This race is at Fort Gordon and promises to get your Superhero blood pumping.  The Fun Run begins at 8am in order to beat the heat.

Race 4 the Fallen 5K-June 24th
This night time family-friendly fun race for all ages!  This race begins after sunset at the Liberty Park Community Center in nearby Grovetown.

CareNet Hope 5K Run-June 3rd
This race highlights the awareness of mental health needs.  Travel to Greenville, NC to help raise donations to help those in the midst of life’s crises, situations and events.  And remember this is family-friendly!

Eastern Run/Walk for Autism-June 24th
This race originates in the Greenville Town Common and helps raise awareness for those impacted by Autism. The 5K race begins at 9am followed by the Awareness Walk at 10:30am.

 

White Springs, Florida

Florida Track Club Twilight Meet-June 6th
The Florida Track club welcomes all for their summer track meet.  Events are 1 mile, 3k, and 800m.  All ages and abilities are welcome to the University of Florida campus.

5K Fun Run/Walk-June 10th
In Jacksonville, at the Endurance House, this FREE event encourages everyone to “get moving!”  Run, walk or stroll, every pace is welcome!

GMC Valdosta 5K-June 24th
Georgia Military College presents the 2017 GMC Valdosta 5K!  Awards will be given to overall male and female in multiple age groups.

Changing and Advancing Nutrition Now 5K Run/Walk-June 3rd
Experience the fun and festive trek in downtown Baton Rouge along the grand Mississippi River!  Medals for all adult 5K finishers and awards for the top finishers.

HBCU Pride Run/Walk-June 17th
Celebrate the legacies and culture of Historically Black  colleges and Universities.  Wear your favorite school colors to show your support! In Baton Rouge.

1st Annual Magnolia Race benefiting St. Jude Hospital-June 24th
Show your support for one of the great Children’s Hospital in the country. The 5K and 1 mile will start at the same time.

 

Joplin, Missouri

Race4Hope 5K Run & 1 Mile Walk-June 3rd
The 10th Annual edition of this race will take plat MSSU in Joplin.  All money raised remains local to help the underinsured or uninsured get mammograms.  Great race for a great cause.

Nighttime Summer Race Series 2017-June 10th
Joplin’s beautiful Frisco Greenway Trail is the venue for this chip timed event.  The 3 races available are the Starry 5K, Midsummer 5K and the Blue Moon 5k.

Camp Quality Run for our Heroes-June 24th
Gather at the beautiful Frisco Trail for this. Costume run in honor of local children who are our superheroes.  All proceeds raised support Camp Quality Ozarks.

 

Lima, Ohio

Ribfest River Run 5K-June 3rd
This great 8th annual run in Antwerp on the day of the Annual village Ribfest. Starts at Veterans Memorial Park along the Maumee River.

Red Velvet Cupcake Run 5K Run Walk-June 17th
The course runs along the scenic Wolf Creek bike trail with a start and finish at McIntosh Park.  This is a 3.1-mile loop in Dayton is for both runners and walkers.

Findlay Family YMCA Glow Run 5 K Fun Run and Walk-June 23rd
Enjoy a beautiful evening in Downtown Findlay while everyone glows in the night race.  This run or walk starts at 9:15pm and will surely be a visual spectacle.

 

Weeping Water, NE

Havelock Charity Run/Walk-June 3rd
This is the 38th Annual race in Lincoln that provides a 10k and a 3k.  Both races start in front of the Pinnacle Bank.

Cornfield Cornfield 10k-June 17th
From a hometown race complete with watermelon, sweet corn and cold beer after the race to a costume contest where you can display your hometown pride…this race has it all.  The short drive to Papillion will be well worth it!

Papillion Days Duathlon-June 18th
This 16th Annual race begins at 8am and all ages and teams are welcome!  Walnut Creek Lake and Recreation area will be the starting and finishing location.

 

Northbrook, Illinois

Lakewood’s Lake to Lake 5K-June 3rd
This scenic route will take you from Lakewood to Lance Park and back to Lakewood.  This race is open to all runners or walkers. Enjoy!

Divine Nine 5K-June 17th
This wonderful race provides participants the opportunity to network, socialize and raise funds to support the NPHC-Chicago Scholarship fund.  So, benefit your mind and body while supporting a great cause!

Trinity Triumph 5K-June 22nd
Support those with disabilities that are supported by Trinity Services.  For those that prefer a shorter run, there will be a 1k walk along with the 5K Run.

Mayor’s Run/Walk for Fitness-June 11th
10k Run, 5K run/walk or 3k run/walk for all ages and abilities during Mayor Fougere’s Annual walk/run for fitness. The race starts at 9am at the City Square Plaza.

Mimosa Run-June 11th
Help raise funds to support the Lasers PARA Swim program.  This program helps athletes with disabilities to learn to swim and compete. Scenic and fun Trail for the entire family.

June Run for Renee 5K-June 4th
This is a fast and friendly no frills race. The course starts at Gondola Point Rd and Vincent Rd.  First 2k is almost all downhill.  Good way to start a race don’t you think?

MAF Flyin Feet Five Miller-June 10th
Hand crafted medals are handed out to the top finishers in each age category.  Great music will accompany this fun race…so add some dancing to your run!

BridgeFest 150-June 18th
This race is in Confederation Bridge, New Brunswick.  Along with a Half Marathon, there is also a 10km and a 5km.

Tobago Heritage Festival 2017-June 2nd
The singing of folk songs, lighting of candles and the rhythm of dance are all a part of the Tobago Heritage Festival.  Sounds like fun and a good opportunity to get some exercise.

Sweaters 5k/10k Walk/Run-June 15th
Located at the OJOE Road Recreation grounds. This fun race is sure to be accompanied by beautiful weather. Medals for all finishers!

OWTU Butler Classic Races 5K and 20k- June 19th
This race runs from 5:30am to 8:45am. Beat the heat and enjoy the coolness of this wonderful morning run. Finish before 9am and the rest of the day is all yours.
