Lions Club Reindeer Run 2017-December 2nd

A spirited winter 5K featuring holiday spirit, post-race refreshments and lots of holiday cheer!  A portion of the proceeds will go to Lions Club Charities.

Candy Cane Kid’s Dash-December 3rd

Break out those Santa hats and ugly Christmas sweaters for this festive 5K! The Candy Cane Kid’s Dash is a 1/4 mile run designated for kids 10 and under only.

 

Cincinnati, Ohio

Topo Trail Run Series-December 9th

This is a no frills trail run race series with the goal of getting you out on the trails in the winter months.  Each race location will have a one (5 to 6 miles) and two (10 to 12 miles) loop courses.  The races will be timed with water stops and snacks afterward. Cash awards will go to the male and female winner of each race.

Jingle Bell Run-December 9th

The Arthritis Foundation’s original Jingle Bell Run is a fun way to get decked out and be festive, while racing to raise funds and awareness to cure America’s #1 cause of disability. Put on your favorite holiday costume. Tie jingle bells to your shoelaces. ’Tis the season to live it up and be jolly for a reason!

Noel 5K-December 16th

This event takes place the third Saturday of December, just a week shy of Christmas, in order to provide much needed financial support of the Ruth Lyons Children’s Fund. Come join us at Lunken Airport on December 16th, 2017 at 10am Lunken Play field.

Jingle Jam 10k-December 2nd

Jingle Jam 10K was selected as the Best Fundraising Event in Augusta Magazine’s 2016 Best of Augusta reader’s poll! Race is in Nearby Evans, Ga.

Army Navy 5K-December 9th

This event coincides with the Army vs Navy Game on Engineer field at the football field.  All athletes will register as an Army supporter or a Navy Supporter.  After the Run, stick around and enjoy two flag football games.  The first one will see the JROTC’s from Greenbrier and Lakeside High Schools, (Army vs Navy), square off, and then, the second matchup will see our Service Members representing the two branches tangle.

Jingle All the Way 5K-December 9th

This race originates from nearby Louisville.  “Take Ten” is a platform created by Mary Wilhelmina Hodges to encourage people of all ages to “take ten” 3-6 times per day.

 

Aurora, North Carolina

Craven Smart Holiday Hustle-December 9th

For the 5k and 10k Medals will be awarded for Overall Male and Female, 1st, 2nd, 3rd place winners.  Medals awarded to top three males and females in the following age groups:  8-12, 13-18, 19-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60 & up.  There will also be a participation medal for all runners of the Bojangles Family Fun Run.

Winter Wonder-Land Cupcakes-December 12th

Learn how to decorate whimsical cupcakes using easy techniques, like lines, dots, stars, and sprinkles. At the end of the workshop, take your delightful handmade creations home to share with family and friends. Make sure to burn some calories before partaking in this yummy activity!

Ruby’s Misfits Animal Rescue 1st Annual “Santa Paws” 5K Fun Run/Walk-December 16th

The 1st Annual “Santa Paws” 5K Fun Run/Walk in an effort to raise awareness and funds to help the animals in our community and will give us the opportunity to eventually get a no-kill animal sanctuary built within the county. Take the short drive to Jacksonville to help our 4-legged friends.

 

White Springs, Florida

The Gingerbread Gallop 5K-December 2nd

Get into the holiday spirit with this Christmas themed 5K and 1 miler presented by the Wolves Runners at St. Francis Academy. Runners will be dashing through…well maybe not the snow, but beautiful trails that surround the school. This challenging course offers a variety of terrain that will challenge trail runners and road racers alike. Race is in nearby Gainesville.

Runners without Borders-December 3rd

Join UF’s Engineers Without Borders Chapter to raise funds for a rainwater catchment system in a Nepalese elementary school. Starting from the commuter parking lot, the race route will take you to Hull Road, through frat row, and down Gale Lemerand for a fast, slight downhill finish.

Red Nose Run-December 16th

RED NOSE RUN Half Marathon, 5K Run/Walk and Kids Fun Run. Saturday, December 16, 2017, Half & 5K 8:00 a.m., Fun Run 9:00 a.m. Thomas University, Thomasville, Georgia.  Proceeds from this event benefit Thomasville children’s charities.

Baton Rouge Beach Half Marathon-December 2nd

You’ll start and finish at the Baton Rouge Beach (also known as Milford Wampold Memorial Park), passing through the beautiful campus of Louisiana State University, The Lakes, and parts of the historic Garden District.

Santa Fun Run-December 9th

The Oaks Kiwanis Club is seeking adults and children families and friends, all wanting to dress like Santa Claus and run in the fifth annual Oaks Kiwanis Club Santa Fun Run on Saturday, December 10th, in advance of the 66th Annual Cortana Kiwanis Christmas Parade.
Gingerbread Jog and One Mile Family Run-December 16th

The Mile fun run will be at 8:30am and the 5K starts at 9am.  After the race enjoy food, music kid activities And Gingerbread House decorating!

 

Joplin, Missouri

36 Hours of Jack-December 9th

36 Hours Of Jack! There are 8 distances this year on this flat and fast crushed limestone trail. The current loop is 25K per round. There is a special turn for the 5K, 15K, and the final loop of the 100 miler.

Christmas Mile & 5K-December 9th

Flat and fast one-mile race is the perfect way to celebrate the Christmas Season. Christmas Party with Santa and his friends before during and after the race. Plus you get to meet Santa!

Ugly Sweater 5K and Eggnog Mile-December 16th

It’s time to dig out that ugly Christmas sweater hanging in the back of your closet and join us for the ugliest run of the year! Held in beautiful Downtown Joplin, participants will have the option of walking or running a chip-timed 5K on a certified race course AND/OR test their stomachs’ endurance on the Eggnog Mile/Beer Mile.

Holiday Run-December 3rd

Dogs are encouraged to run with all participants as all proceeds go to the Capital Humane Society!

Hurdle VIP Ride (Cycling)-December 4th

Come spin with your fellow Hudlies at Fly Fitness, (201 N 13th St, Lincoln, NE). They’ll do a 45-minute cycling class and then drinks will be provided after! Cycling shoes will be provided!

2017 Jingle Jog-December 9th

This laid-back fun run is a great way to get the entire family involved in running while supporting local families in need. All proceeds from our free-will donation run and breakfast will go directly to West Lincoln & Huntington Elementary Holiday Headquarters Program.

Paw Paw Rotary 5K Santa Run-December 9th

Get into the Holiday Spirit with Exercise & Fun!
The Paw Paw Area Rotary Club is hosting its 6th Annual 5K Santa Run, 1-Mile Fun Walk and a Reindeer Romp on Saturday, December 9, 2017 at Paw Paw Middle School. Proceeds from the Run will be used to further the Rotary Club’s efforts locally & worldwide.

Atlantic Canada Race Director’s Summit-December 9th

Beginning at 10:00am and concluding at 4:15pm. The 2017 Atlantic Canada Race Director’s Summit is hosted by Run New Brunswick and Athletics Canada, in collaboration with Run Nova Scotia, PEI Road Runners, and Race Roster. Taking place in the CEPS on the Université de Moncton campus in Moncton.

Not the Honolulu 2017-December 9th

This is a noncompetitive fun run. Registration opens at 7:30 for those preregistered. Location: Mactaquac Provincial Park – Golf Club. Course: A loop inside the Park starting at the golf club house will be set for 10K. The half marathon finish will be indicated also. (In true NTH tradition, you can run any distance you feel like doing). We’ll be sending out a map of the course soon.
